Linköping University licenses technology to leading virtual reality companies

Linköping University, through its investment activity LiU Invest, announces collaboration with Oculus, a world-leading company in virtual reality hardware and software.

Oculus has acquired a license to use a simulation model developed by researchers at Linköping University. The model was developed by Professor Stefan Stenfelt at the department of speech therapy, audiology and otorhinolaryngology at Linköping University.

"The model is based on knowledge and experience gathered over many years of research. We are happy that the model can not only contribute to the world of research but also has commercial use," says Jonas Nilsson at LiU Invest.
