LiU Invest invests together with several business angels and business angel funds in Flashe Gaming Group AB, which has launched a patent pending glove for computer games.
The e-sports market is growing rapidly, with major tournaments attracting large audiences and prize money in the same order of magnitude as 'normal' sports. Flashe was founded by Oskar Ödmark, who has a background as a gamer.
- With the help of LiU Invest's wide network of contacts, I have been able to reach out and get in touch with relevant investors, instead of making cold calls, says Oskar Ödmark. This has allowed me to optimize my time, and in connection with the investment round I have also been able to put a lot of focus on growing the company. To achieve this, during the investment round, I have worked with online sales and signed distribution agreements. Today, the gaming glove and gaming sleeve are available at major retailers such as Cdon, Inet, Maxgaming, and hopefully many more in the near future. In addition, I have also launched a new successful crowdfunding campaign for the new product, Xdapter. This product will also be available online and at retailers before summer.
