FluoLink provides a unique, patented solution through optical guidance in neurosurgery. When diagnosing the specific type of brain tumor, tissue samples (biopsies) must be taken in each individual case. FluoLink’s patented solution means that it is enough to insert the biopsy needle with an optical fiber probe, which reduces the risk of complications. The procedure can be carried out in a significantly shorter time, which frees up resources and saves the hospital a significant amount of money.
