HPViCo develops, produces, and sells functional coatings suitable for various shapes and applications, including safety glass, bottles, lenses, and smartphones of vitreous, plastic, and metallic materials. The company has its origins in Linköping University, in the technical faculty and department IFM, and Linnaeus University, and the vision is to extend the life of all types of transparent surfaces. HPViCo’s product is not only durable but also functional. Through adaptation, it can be used to achieve multiple optical, mechanical, and chemical properties in a single process and as HPViCo promotes resource efficiency, using a zero-emission process, it is also sustainable. By being able to provide multifunctional coatings in a single process step, HPViCo also works with a long-term vision of contributing to the sustainability transition.
