LiU Invest invests in BioReperia

New investment

LiU Invest invests SEK 240k out of a total of SEK 2m in the drug testing company BioReperia. Other investors are private business angels.

BioReperia can use zebrafish to test drugs and drug candidates to select the substance that has the greatest effect against a specific cancer tumor. The market in both drug development and personalized medicine is considered large.

BioReperia was started by researchers Lasse Jensen and Anna Fahlgren, both at Linköping University. The company is a member of the business incubator Lead.
