CBot AB closes operations
CBot, which has developed an intelligent seeing robot for the construction industry, is shutting down operations.
The company's business idea was to develop and market a fully automatic robot for tiling large floors for, for example, shopping centers, a job that is considered heavy and tiring.
"When we started the company, we had a clear interest from our potential customers. However, the industry has developed in a different direction and today uses other methods and above all lighter materials for flooring.” says Fredrik Viksten, co-founder of the company.
In addition to LiU Invest, Almi Invest and private business angels have invested in the company.
