LiU Invest makes additional investments in SweGaN

Additional investment

LiU Invest makes an additional investment in the gallium nitride company SweGaN. The investment is carried out together with several other investors. Gallium nitride transistors are used in high frequency applications such as base stations for 5G and radar systems.

SweGan is developing well both on the customer and technology side. The company has been granted large EU grants and intends to scale up operations both in terms of personnel and equipment. LiU Invest therefore carries out an additional investment together with mainly existing investors and staff.

Applications for the company's technology can be found in high-frequency and power applications such as base stations for 5G, radar systems, inverters for solar cell plants and others.
