n-ink manufactures an n-conducting polymer-based ink that, unlike the p-conducting inks on the market, can withstand high temperatures.
In an n-conducting ink, it is electrons that are charge carriers, unlike p-conducting materials where it is holes that are charge carriers. To produce well-printed organic semiconductors, both n- and p-materials are needed.
Examples of applications for n-ink's products are organic solar cells and polymer capacitors.
The company has taken the first paid customer orders for test and evaluation and the business therefore needs to be scaled up. This additional investment is carried out by LiU Invest together with two business angels with industry experience.
