Epishine has a pioneering manufacturing process in printed organic solar cells. The company has its origins in the technical faculty and the departments ITN and IFM at Linköping University and the solar cells are the results of over 30 years of research in organic electronics and solar cells. One of the many benefits of this unique manufacturing process is that it achieves a breakthrough level of manufacturing scalability and provides industry-leading low-light efficiency. Epishine’s first product is optimized to conserve energy in dim light in indoor environments. Epishine’s goal is to be at the forefront of printed organic solar cells and to offer the world’s most scalable, resource-efficient, and affordable solar cells in a series of phases.
